Originally, Batamon was going to actually get in a punch on Keeby, but... ironically there was no punchline in that scenario.
And, well, I just couldn't do it. I can't justify having Batamon stick around if he'd actually resort to those measures. He'd be like a badly written version of Kaxo.
And Flotzo comes to break up the fight a little too late.
I'm not even sure what the point of Batamon in KDL3 was...

@Guest: Batamon is (slightly) based on an enemy from Kirby's Dreamland 3. I have no idea what the name is supposed to mean, but I find it unlikely to be a Digimon reference.
(Also I know pretty much nothing about Digimon anyway, so references to it in this comic are unlikely, sorry.)
